Woot! Yes, with an exclamation. It’s the latest online retailer and yes, it is also by amazon. Well at first it wasn’t and then it was. But is cool. And I say it as an avid user and buyer. The retail giant decided to keep woot! And it’s two monkeys because it is pretty cool, and you can get stuff pretty cheap. They deal specifically with items that are refurbished, open box, overstocked items, and crazy t-shirts.
Woot! Helps you find great quality electronics, computers, smartphones, sporting goods, home, kitchen utensils, t-shirts, groceries, sneakers, did I mention t-shirts. And you may say, why would I change amazon for woot!? Well, you can find a lot of the stuff you find on amazon.com at a cheaper price and the monkeys give you a premier treatment. They don’t let you search for the stuff you want; you must look around for it on their website, which is also in app format.
I recommend that you subscribe to their daily digest email where they send you daily deals and it will be tuned to your tastes as you use it. At the end of the email the monkeys tell you a joke (sometimes not so good, but it’s very original). It is very easy to create an account and if you already have an amazon account, you are all set. Buying is a snap with amazon pay and you will get notifications up until your stuff arrives. You can also play games with the monkeys, and these games get you discounted prices that are very good.
They also sell new stuff at pointless prices as they promote. The warranty and service are premium like on amazon and if you are an amazon prime member, you can get special discounts on their app.
